On behalf of the Japanese Panel of Cholera and Other Bacterial Enteric Infections, I welcome you to the United States-Japan Cooperative Medical Science Program (UJCMSP) 49th Annual Joint Panel Meeting.

The meeting will be held from January 14 through Janu in Gainesville, Florida, USA. The United States-Japan Cooperative Medical Science Program was initiated in by joint agreement between the President of the United States and the Prime Minister of Japan.

The purpose of the Program was to promote cooperative biomedical research between the two countries, especially on health problems of recognized impor­ tance in : Springer Netherlands.
